We recently serviced a Wisper 905SE for Andrew Key, who lives in Wolverhampton. Andrew writes poetry in his spare time and has had some published.

As a special thank you, he gave us a poem he wrote about the joys of cycling!

Bike riding is good for your self

Less carbon emisions

Costing less of your wealth

Bike riding is good for your health

Maintaining your balance

Dodging traffic with stealth

Bicycling keeps you fit

Alert and attentive

And doing your bit

Bicycling is lots of fun

Through countryside lanes

In mid-summers' sun

The Christmas lights are up in the PowaStation showroom and we're feeling festive!

As a Christmas special offer, Oxygen have knocked £100 off the retail price all of their e-bikes. The Diva in our showroom is currently only £1149!

Wet, icy or muddy conditions are a real worry to cyclists - a lady bought a set of puncture-resistant mountain bike tyres from us to fit to her husband's Wisper 905SE - a great Christmas present! Don't hesitate to contact us if you're looking for accesories or extras for your e-bike!

WINTER SERVICING

Recently, we serviced a Wisper 905SE and 705 from people in Wolverhampton, who bought them from a dealer at Halfpenny Green, since closed down. Both bikes are nearly 2 years old and are still performing excellently.

As well as a general check-up, the lady who owned the Wisper 705 wanted something to put the shopping in, so we fitted it with a wicker basket - instant retro chic!

We also serviced a Freego Eagle that was purchased from us in September. The customer is really happy with the bike and it sees a lot of regular usage, along canal towpaths. He says he usually gets 60 miles from a full charge!

NEW TO THE SHOWROOM:
Byocycles are a manufacturer we have just started stocking. They offer a range of excellent value bikes, priced between £699 and £1349. They come in a variety of styles, from folders to mountain bikes, to step-throughs with sophisticated hub gear systems!

A busy October for PowaStation!

The nights are drawing in, the air is getting colder, but PowaStation have seen a surge of interest in electric bikes, since the NEC Cycle Show at the start of October.

As well as general sales enquiries, we've had people popping in, who have until now been using the pioneering electric bikes with lead acid batteries (8+ years old!). They were pleasantly surprised when they found out how the technology has advanced in recent years.

We are currently displaying the showroom's 3E Urban with G&P Campervans on the A51, so people can see just how convenient electric bikes are for attaching to the back of a vehicle and taking on holidays and trips.
