And with the sunshine finally here, it's been a busy few weeks for PowaStation.
On 13th March, Graham & Patrick showcased the
affordable advantages of ebikes when it comes to businesses reducing their carbon footprint, at a sustainable travel workshop in Leicester. Several of the delegates had a go on the Byocycles Fox and agreed that it's a lovely way to travel!
We then had a ride-and-decide event at Swadlincote, Derbyshire on Friday 16th March. We took along the 3E Sport and CityLight for people to ride and feel the difference! While this was going on, 3 staff from 2 district councils rode one of our bikes on a 35 mile, cross-county relay. And the bike came back with half the battery capacity remaining!

ON THE ROAD:
A pair of Byocycles Chameleon 20 folding bikes (£699 each)
Sold to a couple who both have hip replacements but still want to keep active. The smaller frames make these more comfortable to get on and easier to store away. But don't worry, nothing is sacrificed as they come with 10Ah batteries, 3 levels of pedal-assist and hand throttle.

A striking and great value bike that is proving very popular (now out of stock until May!). It has the best of both: easy to store away and with 24" wheels, feels more like a conventional bike than any other folder!

A couple with a campervan wanted a pair of ebikes to use for holiday leisure cycling. The Oxygen Diva offers comfort, with its stylish, 17" step-through frame. We modified the 905 Eco with larger mudguards and a rear rack, so it's now ready for anything!
Oxygen Emate Race (£1499) & Oxygen Emate City (£1425)
Oxygen's Emates are high performance bikes, with 15.5Ah batteries, front & rear disc brakes and the Oxydrive system. The Race includes chunkier MTB tyres, while the City has full mudguards and rear rack, perfect for commuting.

Wisper 905 Eco & 705 Eco (£999 each)
We have another 905 Eco and its step-through variant, the 705. Again, we've fitted rear racks to both at no extra cost, so they've got a wide range of uses. These are great stripped-down versions of the Wisper models.
Oxygen Diva, 2012 model (£1399)
The 2012 Oxygens now come with the Oxydrive system, comprising a more powerful motor, as well as an LCD console and 5 levels of pedal assistance. The Diva is available with 10Ah or 15.5Ah battery (showroom model)
Byocycles Fox (£1349)
The step-through star of the Byocycles range, the Fox features the revolutionary NuVinci gearing system. No more clunking in and out of gears; the transmission is completely smooth. Just twist the shifter until the ride feels comfortable.
Add to this a front-hub motor, 5 levels of pedal assistance and a rear mounted battery and you have one smooth e-bike!
